Faster with aero????
Ok this is really weird. The windows 7 I installed came with a pre installed custom theme and for some reason when i use any other theme but that one it drops my d/l speed BIG TIME. When using it its at about 1.5mb a sec. When its on any other theme it goes to like 400k/b... any ideas??

Your download speeds are dropping when you switch themes? How much RAM do you have/what is your processor?

That is the weirdest thing i have heard! The only thing it can be surely is, as Bandersnatch said, for some reason the other themes are using up your available RAM or CPU power.
Does your graphics card struggle with Aero? Also, is the pre-installed theme transparent.
