Hi friends,

I am new in the torrent world and would like to know how to start using this site?

Secondly, Can anyone give invite for Iptorrents or any other such private torrent website as many people have suggested me using private torrent sites as they are fast than iso hunt etc ?

What's this site all about?

Torrent-Invites was founded on the basis that all people should have access to private trackers. We opened our doors in 2007 and have been growing and thriving ever since. I've registered but I still don't have access to the invite sections!

This is because you are still at 0%. To reach 10% and get access to our invite sub-forums, you must make an introduction and be "repped" into the community. To do this, go to our introduction section and create an intro. Once our intro team has approved your intro, you may begin posting in the invites sections.

Where are all the invites?

Invite giveaways are located in the Area 51 section of the site. You can search the different sub-sections to find the invite you are looking for. Additionally, you may open threads offering your invites in these sections. We also have a request section of the forum, where you may request the invite you are looking for. Please note that requests are only open to 33% and up.

Welcome, TI is a great place to be but you need to work at it and be an active member, prove your ratios (Downloaded vs. Uploaded) etc. before an invite will be given.

What i suggest for you, if you are new to torrents is to download a Bittorrent client, (I personally recommend uTorrent, Click Here. uTorrent is accepted by all the trackers i have been on.)

Once you have downloaded and installed uTorrent join an open tracker, I started with BT Junkie, it has a lot of the top releases and the top torrents are well seeded. I'd prefer this to ISO Hunt.

Search for the torrent you want to download, download and open with uTorrent. A rule of thumb is try to seed until the ratio for that torrent is atleast 1.0, as when you join a private tracker, lower ratios will get your account disabled. Its also the right thing to do i feel.
You have been able to download 1.0 of the film, so why shouldn't you upload the same and share. After all, thats what bittorrents are all about, if no one seeded, we wouldn't be able to download!

Hope this helps, just remember to seed as when applying for invites, or even to be repped-in to the site, people will need to see your ratio proof (a screenshot of your ratio, from uTorrent or trackers).

Thanks for the info. But pls tell when all the torrents are available openly in sites like isohunt etc then why should we use private torrent sites and why r they important as compared to open sites?

Security and because they're private sites a community generally develops so you'll see so much content on private trackers that don't even get a mention outside the site. You're not just joining some download archive, you're becoming a member of their community.
