There's a lot more to consider when choosing the correct wattage of PSU. To be safe, use this link: eXtreme Power Supply Calculator. Just input the detailed specs of your rig.
If you're asking about the brand, I would recommend Corsair or Thermaltake.

i understand what wattage to get but which psu will last me being on 24hrs a day
Seasonic Gold Series or Corsair AX Gold Series. They are a little pricey but worth it. I have the Seasonic X650 running constantly without any problems. But of course with any PSU there will always be a few bad ones from the bunch.
Go with the Corsair AX series. The AX series has a higher efficiency rating and will lower your bill from running it for 24 hours a day.
thanks for the input this be the best Corsair Professional Series™ Gold AX750 High Performance 750W Power Supply (CMPSU-750AXUK) [CMPSU-750AXUK]=

Nothing wrong with that Corsair psu, here's a good site that looks at psu's might be worth a look..

I think you should get the 650 seasonic as recommended in another post. I have both this and the 850 watt corsair and i can tell you that the seasonic has better stability. The corsairs ax series are rebranded seasonics, but they dont use all the same quality parts on those as they do for their own psu's. PM me if you have specific questions on this, as i have opened both psu's.
So long as you don't under power your system any PSU will do just fine. Just pick something from a reputable brand with high wattage.
