Thread: SCC help

Today I receied an invite but I didn't know that my country is banned from registration.
I got access to the confirmation link and did the registration and then I was told that I'm from the banned country and the invite is deleted.
Now what should I do?
Is there any possibility that I can get the invite back?
If not it'll be too bad.How can I explain to the inviter?

You are responsible for checking the banned countries first. There isn't any way to get the invite back, and if I were you, I'd explain as nice as I could that I didn't know the country was banned. The inviter might not be too happy though...

If your country is banned from a specific tracker there is no way to 'get the invite back.' In the future you should research the tracker thoroughly to make sure that you do not run into this issue. I would contact the inviter ASAP to notify them of the issue and that you were unaware of your country being banned. You may also want to contact a staff member and explain the situation in the IRC help forum.

If your browser supports Java you should be able to just connect by clicking the IRC tab at the top and entering your T-I username, but if that's not working use the link I listed.

I can only join the #scc-swe channel and others are invite only...

No, I'm not suggesting you go onto the SCC IRC, I'm saying you may want to bring this up with T-I staff so they are aware of the situation in case further steps are taken. Join the #tihelp chat on T-I's IRC to speak with a staff member.
