Thread: Igiver help

Howdy! I recently made a request for GFT, and was invited by DX. I went to leave him an igiver, but noticed that my request thread was closed and moved into the moderator lounge for processed requests. What should I do? Just wait for it to be moved to completed requests? The transaction has been completed, and I'd like to give the igiver asap so I don't forget.

Try viewing your profile, looking at your started posts, and right-click copy the url of your request thread to use for the iGiver. I think that should work, though never been in that situation.

Shadowbuild: I used that link, but still got a "The deal URL is invalid!" error from it.

svedinish: Tried that, but since the thread got moved to the processed location it doesn't show up in my recent posts.

Hrmm, I wonder if it's saying The deal URL is invalid because you are the author of that thread. From my understanding, iGiver can only be processed if the person getting the iGiver is the author of that thread, which would need to be DX. You may be able to use a different thread started by DX to use for the iGiver, maybe staff can confirm this? I couldn't find anything mentioning this, though thought I had seen something about this in the FAQ before the makeover.

I looked in Completed Requests and there is not your thread...

You can make another one or use one of DX giveaways to sent iGiver...

Thanks for the help guys! I followed sam8cb's advice and it worked. Thread can now be closed.

Just so you know, you can close the thread yourself. At the top, click Administrative, then Close Thread->Submit.
