Thread: deluge 1.3.1 seedbox help

hello,
i bough a seedbox and instaled deluge for learn to use it, but i dont get great speeds at most of time (only if 1 torrent is active and sometimes with 1 torrent with low speed). someone know configure it? or tips?
im conectable with the trackers and its not tracker problem ( seeds or leechs, i tested with another seedbox)

Have you compared the same torrents performance to rTorrent? Default configs should be fine to test just the speed on a couple torrents and I wouldn't change it unless you're seeding hundreds of torrents right now. Find a super seeded torrent on Demonoid or something similar, usually this is the easiest way to see the true power of your connection. You say you tried with another seedbox, Deluge setup? And your performance was much better?

thanks for that quick question, i already tested this seedbox with utorrent and deluge and didint work very well, on my another im using utorrent and working fine with 3-4 active downloads and few uploads.

edit: i only can see good speeds on deluge if i limit upload slots to 3-5, after that i dont have. and when i limit that i dont have good upload speeds

It could very well just be your seedbox then. How many users are you sharing with on what kind of line? What kind of trackers are you trying to use it with?

9 user sharing the conection and 2 the harddriver. im trying use chdbits,scenehd,TL,SCC
on chdbits is the worse, im uploading 2-3mbs when the download stop it insta go to 50kbps

Hrmm, and the torrents you're on are fresh torrents? You should be seeing better upload speeds than 50kbps unless the torrent is suddenly saturated. You also shouldn't have to limit to 5 torrents for Deluge. I'm running almost 1,000 in Deluge right now and still get great up/down speeds. May I ask which seedbox provider you're using? You may try fiddling with the settings in Deluge for max. connections/half-open connections, but somehow I doubt that's going to change your situation much.

im using the evoboxes platinum plan on GBPS seedbox. but i think will be hard put it for work fine :P
i think im going try install utorrent and put it for work

I would recommend trying ruTorrent (rTorrent) before utorrent, better performance and you can manage thousands of torrents without issue.
