Navigator update!
i don know where to post this so here i am!a friend want to make an update on his tomtom navigator!the problem is that the guy from the service told him that this thing needs weeks(sending the navigator to the manufacturer or something like that)and can not afford that seing that he will need it soon.can he simple plug it to internet and update the maps?or is more complicate than that?

Im not sure exactly how you would do it but I have seen maps being released on sites like torrentleech so it must be possible and the files are out there! I guess you would plug the sat nav into the computer and update it somehow, not sure on the exact instructions though.

i;ve manage to find some maps on TL,but it doesnt says how to "instal"them seing that are in winrar.only need to extract them and then put on some slot card?..if someone have done this before it will be awsome to explain me how to do it,i dont want to mess up with the navigator loll
