Thread: I need help installing crysis2

i mount the game, and start the installation
the installation programam disappears after i hit "Install" or i try to change the location where it is going to be installed. has happened before with a different game, but others install just fine. I checked virus with avast, used spyware terminator, dont know what to do. anyone has some advice? thanks

This is probably a registry error or an issue involving DirectX. I would make sure you have a copy of the latest DirectX. If you do not, Google it and also download Uniblue Registry and Dll fixer to resolve all registry problems and you should be fine. do not request rep in posts also igivers are only for invites not for helping others

which rls did you get? try turning off your virus scanner and running it again

if its when your 1st trying to install then its not a DX prob and its probaly something to do with windows installer im not sure which OS your using but if its win 7 theres a bug in CEIP which does this

try opening regedit (click the windows icon and type in " regedit " with no spaces or quotes into the search/run box)
and in there
go to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\SQMClient\Windows\Disabled Sessions
rename MachineThrottling to _MachineThrottling

after that try again and see if that helps

Burn or mount
* Install game
* Copy crack from --------- folder on DVD to gamedir
* Play

I use magic iso, and you must install to normal c: drive directory
i do not install ea download manager!
