    Default Downloading problem

    My friend has an acer aspri windows vista Laptop but he's not in torrents at all and he wanted to download a program from download.cnet.com he pressed download then save then nothing happened so I told him try to run not save(he's using internet explorer) and it started downloading but it didn't run the program when the download finished can someone help me if you need any more info just post what you want to know.

    PS. his laptop model is 7538Z

    I would try a different browser.

    When you mouse over the link, what does the target address say? If it ends in an extension: ".exe, .zip, etc." Then click "save link as"/"save target as", and browse to a location. If it ends in a directory: "dl4358403034/6807965043/" or something along those lines, you should just have to click the link and it will download. If these tips don't work, have you tried looking in the "Temp" directory for the files?

    yeh i am also got in filelist.ro in changed detected lol .... after restarting utorrent it ll download
