    Default Upload Speed Help

I noticed that while I have blazing fast download speed, my upload speed is, at best, subpar. Is there any way to fix this?

    Here are my speed stats.

No...your speed is capped by your internet provider.

What is the down/up load speed of your ISP's internet plan? You should be getting about 80% of the rated speed when one accounts for overhead. Additionally you could use a tool such as SpeedGuide's TCP Optimizer. SpeedGuide.net - TCP Optimizer

    - Download and run it.
    - Select your NIC from the list, select your rated download speed (what you pay for) and then click Optimal
    - Apply Changes, reboot.

This may give you a slight bump to the speed you should be seeing.

For a home connection that is pretty damn good.

The far majority of home connections are asymmetrical. They know people download far more than they upload.

Just ask your ISP what your upload is actually supposed to be
