Thread: utorrent doesnt seed my uploaded torrent :(

I just created a torrent and succesfully uploaded it to asiatorrents, but after i saved my own torrent and run it in utorrent, utorrent shows it as downloading not seeding, whats the problem?

Are you sure that your torrent in uTorrent is directed to download where your original file is? Make sure your upload data is in your default uTorrent download folder. Check your preferences if you're unsure where the download folder is.

yes, the file is in the correct location, even when I click on "open file location" it opens the window with the file selected, but still no seeding.

Try a different client to see if you get any different results. If the file in your download directory is the exact same file you're trying to seed, it should seed fine. Check on AsiaTorrents what the status of your torrent is. Does it list you as seeding in the peerslist? If so, you're fine.

I deleted the torrent and download it again and it worked this time, i dont no what the problem was.

maybe the initial torrent file was corrupt or incomplete, or didnt have the passkey in it.
anyways, good u got it to work
