I need to install windows 7 via usb booting method.

Is there any software that can help in creating a usb bootable drive and through which i can install windows 7.

Yes, there is one hell of a software for that. That too official from Microsoft.
Get it here. It just requires you to input the .iso file & that's it.

winsetup from usb or Windows 7 USB/DVD Download tool (by MS).

Ah, don't forget to set your BIOS to boot from USB flash drive

Use the last one, because it is very simple :)

The steps given above are to make the USB drive bootable automatically, but if it doesn't work (it didn't work for me :-( ), you will have to do it manually.
Just follow the method mentioned here, some very simple steps given which will do the same thing the official MS tool does.

Just follow the instructions given for the OS from which you will be doing this.

It won't work in case you're using 32-Bit OS & you try to create a Bootable USB for 64-Bit OS.

I found these two guides useful when I was in the same position you were.

Yes, as long as you make the bootable flash drive in a 32-bit system if you wish to make a bootable 32bit ISO.

As for the boot menu, you might be unlucky.

Fdd is for floppy disk drive ; ZIP is for ZIP drives (iomega) and cd-rom, well you know this last one.

The best option to you is to make a bootable cd-rom, because probably your motherboard is too old for the BIOS to have the possibility to boot from flash drive.

There's another way (it works, I've tested it with a MAC OSX Leopard DVD [lol]) with this tool: Plop - Boot Manager - Free Boot Manager, builtin usb driver, native usb, boot different operating systems, cdrom, usb, freeware, option rom bios

You'll have to burn cd or dvd and it's pretty simple. Once the menu shows, just press on USB.

The Reason i am trying to install via usb is that my cd-drive/dvd drive is toast .
