Default Any 3d artists in the house?

Hey there guys, was wondering if there were any 3d artist in the house , do you use either maya or 3ds max, and do you have any spare time to do a simple 3d logo?

Actually this is not badly done... Could probably be improved with just a few minor changes to the psd itself... PM me if you want to discuss it more.

I started using Maya some months ago, I am still not pro to it but I could take a look on the logo and see what I could do:) But as vladmad said it doesn't look badly done or anything.

    Hey..

Isn't 3Ds, Maya, Softimage et al a bit overkill for just a logo? Imho, Photoshop will do the trick, mostly.

If you absolutely need shiny 3d action, I would suggest using Blender

Its not as complex as the professional 3D apps, and has a better learning curve...

Blender is imo nearly as complex if you get in deep with it (true its not used as much by professionals), but well you got a point with that a lot other programs then Maya and 3ds max would be able to deliver a very fine logo.
He is not saying he wants to learn maya/3ds max just to do the logo, he wants someone else who already have learned the program to do the logo for him:)
