So I'll start with my wallpapers (edited from stuff I got at Deviantart)
A couple variations up there. Trying to find the right placement from a bigger file.
How to do this? Pick a nice image you want to use as your iPhone's wallpaper and quickly edit the image / canvas size to 320x480, that's the resolution of the iPhone's screen.
So there you go. Easy as pie. I'm on a mac so I'm not really sure what software you could use on a PC. I use Photoshop (well, use that if you got it!).

Of course, there's a bit of iPhone jailbreak involved in the creation of this home screen... ;)
