Thread: The Simpsons or The family guy? (Give reasons)

I like the two. It's hard to say if one is better then other.

I like more family guy...just get connected to the characters

I would have to say family guy. Alittle more adultish cartoon, and hack as funny as hell. Plus Louis is hellofa hottie.

of course the Family Guy, it's really hilarious...once I nearly died from laughing.
The Simpsons is kinda family thing, you know there a lot of limits and tabous they won't discuss
but Family Guy...woow, they can talk about anything whatever it was.

Family Guy is more refreshing, plus it's so politically incorrect, I love it! :)

The Simpsons was good a long time ago but I have lost interest in it because it is broadcast to much and I never get to see new episodes while Family Guy is very funny because it is kind of a sketch show but not too much almost like Saturday Night Live and Robot Chicken and that is what I watch a lot.

I definitely think The Simpsons is a better show, but Family Guy is more immediately entertaining. That being said, personally I enjoy The Simpsons more. Their new episodes are really picking up and they often have some nice social commentary. Family Guy can get a bit boring for me as they seem to be a bit formualic in their comedy and reuse the same kinda bits (how many times can we expect to laugh at a character going excessively long on something like hurting his knee or Stewie's rant?)

It has to be family guy for me. I don't know it just feels that the Simpsons are old because of the amount of times they have been watched. Family Guy is fresh meat and generally hilarious.

Although sitting back with a nice doobie and chillen with some Simpsons is the way forward :P
