Thread: Nokia N97 - Best phone ever?

My uncle brad has a Nokia N97, he got one before they came out because of his business, and all of his "connections". Anyways he loves that phone to death, and I mean to death. He says it's the best phone he's ever had (and he currently has 8 active lines so pleanty of phones) and it has a really brilliant screen.

Rofl. This phone is a joke, I sent mine back 4 times for faults, seems its incredibly poorly designed. Also I just wasn't impressed anyway, even when it did work alright.

I have a jailbroken iphone now and i love it to death. :P

N97 this is my dreams,

looks nice phone but i prefer sony for many reasons best of them poly sound.

I think it has great specifications, but the implementation by nokia was not very good. The touchscreen could have been better, and the os probably needed more work to make it a true smartphone. Right now, from the revies ive seen, im really excited about the n900 smartphone/tablet. Its based on the maemo interface, and looks absolutely awesome. Unfortunately, this phone will probably not have a lot of developer support(software, etc) because its the only phone present in the market that runs on maemo. Also, nokia cannot advertise it as their flagship model for the same reason. Its mainly a phone for the devs, but id love to get one
