Default macro keys for every day use?

just replaced my sidewinder keyboard with the razer blackwidow ultimate. only reason i bought it was because i got a great deal for a backlit mechanical keyboard. i dont really use macro keys for gaming but i do want to at least utilize them since they are on the keyboard.

does anyone use their macro keys for regular use (ie- browsing, a/v playback, word typing, email, etc)? thanks.

I don't game much; but I do use keyboard shortcuts like mad.

For web browsing, my favorite is possibly Ctrl+L (Selects the address bar, so you can type without clicking it.)
Ctrl+T (Opens a new tab in all browsers {unless you haven't updated IE}).
Ctrl+W (Closes your tab, if you have one tab left, this shortcut can also be useful to close your entire browser.)
Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V - Thought I'd put those in there, haha. (Copy, and Paste.)
Ctrl+A (Selects ALL text, and other imagery on the webpage. - Unless used in a text box, then it only selects text.)
Ctrl+D (Saves the webpage in your bookmarks.)
    Ctrl+P (Print)
    Ctrl+(+) [Increases the page zoom.]
    Ctrl+(-) [Decreases the page zoom.]
Ctrl+0 (Zero) [Resets the page zoom.]
Ctrl+F (Brings up a find menu where you can search for specific text on a webpage.)
Ctrl+Enter (Gets rid of the need to type in [.com], try it and see for yourself!)
Alt+Left Arrow (Moves the page back.)
Alt+Right Arrow (Moves the page forward.)
    F5 (Refreshes web page)
Esc (Stops loading on a web page, useful for some websites with lots of ads.)

**That's about the only ones I use on a day to day basis just for web browsing. If you would like some others to do with your system itself, let me know what OS you got, and I will try my best to tell you all the ones I use.**

I have a razer tarantula that has 10 programmable macro's, and it has 10 onboard profiles, and up to 90 that can be saved on my pc.

I have the 10 profiles saved for the major games I play.

I find them incredible useful especially for real-time stratagy games.
    Heroes of Might and Magic
    Stracraft
    Warcraft

You can create macros that select certain builds, certain units..
For example in warcraft, I have a macro set up where I can select a peasant, hit my macro and then it will build a farm where-ever I click. It saves a ton of time, just makes things faster. Help you win.

But for normal things, like email, a/v..ect.. I wouldn't wouldn't really bother to set up macros.

I have Logitech G15 with 54 macro buttons (18x3). I try to use them for every repetable task, like renaming files and so, it gets so much easier and faster.
