wow I never thought about that, but it all makes sense. A large % of google's income comes from their paid search on the right side of the search results. something like 10-20% of all searchers will click on one of the paid ads. So I could definitely imagine it being worth millions. "I'm Feeling Lucky" bypasses all of that.
but honestly am I one of the few that's never, I mean never used the I'm feeling lucky button?
The email scanning is just creepy, but Facebook does it way more now.
Cool facts, I can see them loosing 110 million! by using I'm feeling lucky you don't see ads, paid searches, and whatever else they make money off of. and the kayak thing is hilarious thx for sharing.
