Could get a lot worse than this! This is nothing compared to the Toowomba floods further inland.

Haha! There's certainly no chance of bushfires thats 4 sure!

They say there is now enough water over here to last until 2025.

It's crazy.. since moving over here from the UK 5 years ago (to a drought that had lasted about 10 years in Queensland) there has been nothing but rain pretty much.. It's like the weather has followed us here! But when it rains here... it RAINS it's not not like a constant drizzle like back home!

    Cheers mate.

This is still going and they believe it will peak tomorrow at I think 5.5 meters, theres been more then 2 casualties and I would say Million or even Billions of dollars of property destroyed. All day I've been watching the news and it just amazing to think that from 10 years of drought we now have SHIT LOADS of DESTRUCTIVE water flooding close to 80% of Brisbane.

Hopefully Critchleigh your alright and safe.

Thanks 4 the support guys. Yeah i'm hopeful there are no more casualties/fatalities.

From what i gather there are many storage depots giving out free containers to people struggling for space for their posessions! Which is very good!

    Cheers fellas.

Absolutely chaos! Not only that but The Age reports the death toll to currently stand at 13.

I hope all you Queensladers are keeping yourself and your families safe from the mayhem.

Hopefully the water will start to recede very soon. Even down here in Victoria it has been raining constantly for over a week and it looks like it will continue for a week more.

I'm from down Sydney way and I have to say, can't stop watching it on the news.

Hopefully as they report it has peaked and starts going down
