also the $30 offer for students is ace. The OS is one of the few things that i wont torrent, so 30 squids is an excellent deal!

well i have been using windows 7 since beta versions came public and all through ctp and rtm.
Everything worked great, except i had some issues with graphic card drivers, extended desktop didn't work as it was supposed to.
On 22nd october 2009, the day windows 7 came out things changed, on 23rd october 2009 my graphic card vendor released latest version of drivers and everything works.

So finally, hopefully a great os, it's been a while since XP's release.

Eh, I'm at a dual boot of vista and sabayon right now, thinking of switching to win7, just way too lazy at the moment :P

I revieved a copyof windows 7 Final Build, I only used Vista for about 2 month. But from what I can gather my 160gb HDD ( Primary ) runs Windowns and loads faster, better than anything ive known.

If you can get it, Do it. Its is by far better than Vista with all the Features + more.

I have W7 running and it works great. it's faster than XP on my older laptop! I love it.
