Thread: Good Member? Read this.

I am thinking of starting a new social group. Mainly because the anti-traders have had their day ever since they let "former traders" join and the number of untrustworthy members on the forum seems to have increased dramatically.

The rules I am thinking of for members to join are:
minimum 200 posts.
minimum 25 iTrader.
given away invites to two different level three or above sites.
never traded.
By invitation only.
Not a collector (aka greedy invite grabbing bastard)



As far as names go something that inspires confidence would be good.

Any thoughts?

A pretty good idea in my opinion, even though people like me can never join. I think some of the rules are a little high though, I'm sure there are a few people that are like that but that pretty exclusive(unless you want it to be like that). Personally I would lower it then raise it.

I think the post count is a tad high... your other points seem valid though.

Personally I would be more inclined to make an invitation only group with no requirements. With a high post count like you have suggested you might be limiting yourself, there are people around who make very valid / informative / helpful posts yet they don't bother responding to all the crap "how many times a week do you chew your fingernails" threads, therefore they have a low post count but actually contribute more.

The post count could be 150-200, either one.
The iTrader should be lower.
The never traded and not a collector I agree 100%. Why need 10 different private trackers?

I agree Vidar... I'm finding it hard even getting to 100 posts

I'm new and really want to trade..but I'm a little afraid '0'a

I think its a great idea. I think you should lower the posts a little though.
