Thread: Iphone 3gs vs Iphone 4

Wat do u think is the best....
iphone 3gs or iphone 4?
I heard iphone 4 is a failure.....

Just a simple line: iphone4 sucks.. Various problems, signal problem ( Which I still face ) and above all people should use iphone3 because of its age, I mean more age= more flexibility etc.

ipad (or ipod) + Nokia :)

but if serious - iphone 4 is not stable now ;>

There seems to be some signal problems with the iPhone 4 (I do not own one so I should not talk about it), but it's still a great mobile phone. It has the retina display and a few more tweaks over the iPhone 3GS, however, if that does not matter to you, go ahead and pick the 3GS one!

Not much difference.

I upgraded my 3GS to 4 a few months ago and the only difference is Facetime, which I don't even use and the display is better.

The processor speed on the iPhone 4 doesn't appear to be significantly faster then the 3GS.

I'm getting tired of the ATT network, so I will probably go back to Verizon and get a Droid.

I would assume if you are looking at iPhones you aren't trying to be a power user and mod nut. If that's correct I would say 4 all day. The nicer camera and great screen are worth it by themselves. It is also more responsive and feels more crisp. On the stability front I've never had a problem or read about it under normal situations. Worse case scenario is just like a 3GS- reboot it. On the signal front- you said you don't want copy paste but there is an excellent article detailing the issue with real data. It boils down to Yes there is a problem with the design of the case. If you connect the two different (different lengths to amplify different frequencies) with your hands it will degrade the signal. This degradation is minimal unless you are using a large amount of pressure and your hands are moist. The 4 also has better reception by a substantial margin over the 3gs and has a much better tolerance for errors. I have confirmed this with my comparisons to my old 3gs and my wife's current in real world scenarios. You will achieve better speeds and calls unless you go out of your way to exploit it's flaw.
With all other variables equal I would go with the 4. Good luck either way

Well 4 sure iphone 4 iz better than 3gs.But i like more the desinge of 3GS.I think they make'd intenationally,because alot of people was waiting to be aut on sale.I think next one gonna be with a better desine.

always go for latest no probs for me using and i am not an advanced user just browsing,calls,medical apps.and if u r facing probs they r rectified with future updates
