I just got trampled by the lines. I came back quickly :D
I honestly was wanting to go this time around as I have in the past couple of years, however I chose not to this time mainly due to the lack of "deals' in my opinion. Everything I sen that was worth looking at I had no real need for so I passed this thime.
Hopefully next year will be better.
Two or so years ago, I decided to go camping out in front of Best Buy at 9PM with my sister and my older cousin and we waited there until it opened at 5AM. At around 3AM the Best Buy staffers started passing out coffee and donuts and other breakfast foods -- it was so nice! And I ended up getting the external hard drive I wanted :3 This year we didn't go; bought everything online instead, haha.
I didn't go shopping this year because I had to work on Black Friday. I work at Target and people were already lined up at 5pm Thursday night getting ready to camp out for the whole night. People had lawn chairs they had tents. When the doors opened at 4am people made a mad dash. Two people almost got into a fist fight for a big screen. People were complaining the lines were too long considering EVERY single lane was open including all the registers at electronics which is like 3. There were so many people in the store that the line went from the registers and down the store toward the clothing section and wrapping around the store heading toward toys. It was insane. People were willing to wait 8+ hours for the store was opened but were upset when they had to wait 30mins-1 hour to check out cause the lines were so long. It was fun but insane. I was the breaker (what they called me) I was never at the same register for more than 30 minutes. I gave someone a break they would come back then move on. It was a fun day. wish I could have gone shopping but in the end was ok and glad to be home.

So many holidays so little time and money LOL
Wow, what a story^^ I'm guessing you're tired!
So My black friday started on Thanksgiving day at around 8pm. I decided to wait at Best Buy because they had 3 things I wanted..printer (mine finally died), hard drive (who can't use more space?) and an ipod for my mom (awwww!)..When I got there I was around 30-40 heads deep in the line. Around 3pm the staff came out and handed out the doorbusters and we got a "talking to" about pushing, shoving, etc. etc. There was about 10 uniformed officers in front of the building and I'm sure a handful of undercovers hanging around in the line somewhere. So 5am!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and we're off...nice and slowly lol nobody really ran or anything for that matter. I picked up the 3 items and made my way to the line. I was the 2nd person to ring out that day walked up scanned everything in. Asked if I wanted warranty and paid. in at 5:02ish out by 5:15am..Off to JC Pennys (clothing store for all you who dont know) picked up some more items and swung by FYE (music store) got My siblings all finished by 7am. Sat down with my better half who joined me at 7:30am for breakfast then was back to shopping by 8am. Hit up a few more stores and was back home by 10am. Everyone is now done and even wrapped up. NOW that is why I go black friday shopping! lol
I'm one of those guys who walked into the store at 5pm and hoped for some stuff. I got a manga for my sis for 44% off, that's about it.
I can't do the whole waiting in line early in the morning. I had a friend who did before he had to go to work on the base, I think he had no problems because he wore his BDUs and looks like a real military guy.
