Thread: What DVD burner do you use?

I use Nero burning rom but I keep having problems with it and I'm wondering if anyone can recommend something better?

I have nero smartstart, does nero 9Lite have less problems Shanal?

I like the nero other than the fact it always crashes and dies on me after a few months.

Try Ashampoo Burning Studio.
It looks a bit like Nero and is 10 times more lightweight in comparison. I've never had a problem with it either, and that's something I couldn't say about Nero.

What do u mean you have problems..?
I like it cuz its a small size programme and it just has what I need for burning.
Dont experience any sort of crashes with it on Vista.

ooo sounds good, what does 10 times more lightweight mean? Oh I have another question, is it possible to get burning software that will render .avi files faster than my current nero

By lightweight I mean smaller in size. And overall it doesn't take up as many system resources as Nero does.

If you're asking about converting an AVI to DVD in order to burn it to disk, I'd recommend ConvertXtoDVD. 40 mins on average for me - quality setting: highest.
