Well this topic is actually complicated
What do u think the life of a writer is like????
Is it miserable or glamorous or risky or too challenging??
According to my personal point of view I think writer's life is quite challenging,risky,full of hardships than any other profesion
The reasons are :-The writer has to suffer when :-
1)If the movie,drama,tv-show written by the writer himself gets flopped no director/producer in future will take the risk of referring that writer's self-composed script again.So there-after the life of writer gets stagnated or troublesome unless any miracle happens for e.g J.K.Rowling (Harry potter miracle saved her life from debt)
2)If the movie,drama,tv-serial gets hit,people will always praise the actors,actresses of the act.Few will praise the director's work.But very few will praise the writer's work
Thk God Oscar is there to award the writer's work!!!!!!!!!!
3)The writer must always use the highest level of imagination which every-time has to be new and surprise for the common people's mind.If he fails to do so,his script is rejected.
Anyway these were the negative shades of writer's life.There are positive shades too.A good writer earns the highest level of respect in the society which is the most important thing to me.
He gives immense pleasure of peace of mind through his writings which is not very easy to find even if u r very rich
JustJenna,u being a writer your-self I request u to share u r experience in this writing field with all of us.It would be great to know a writer's life practically
