    Piracy would never completely die. Even if all downloads were somehow prevented, you'd have people just sell copies in the black market. Then you'd have warez dealers.

    We were making copies and trading music/software before there even was an internet. It would just go very private. Public and casual users would be left in the dark. The persistent and regulars will always find a way.
