Thread: iPhone 4 is official for Verizon and i got some details!!

Well I don't want to give this person away other than their close to my family, but this person works for Verizon. They sent my sister a text after this person got out of a meeting about the iPhone 4, saying that the iPhone 4 is coming to Verizon January 15th and it WILL support 4g LTE network and will be Verizon's first 4g phone. You can take my word or not but don't say I didn't tell you so.

The reason for this is because there is overwhelming demand for it on Verizon and the iPhone is slipping in the mobile market to Android, and Apple doesn't want to be left behind, so why not go to Big Red? Oh and data plans will be $25 dollars unlimited no longer $30 dollars.

I switched from Verizon to ATT last year to get the iPhone 3GS and just recently got the iPhone 4.

If Verizon gets the iPhone, I would probably switch back because I hate ATT's network.

But you have to wonder, how bad would Verizon's network get once they got the iPhone.

I do like how their data plans are cheaper. I am sort of leaning towards android right now but will decide maybe next year for sure.

That is interesting - it's been rumored for a while and I hope its true. But I also have to wonder what will happen to Verizon at that point - not just current iPhone users that will switch because they're sick of AT&T but also the people that will switch to iPhones because of the new network.

Well my friend owns 5 Verizon Stores and manages them so he know's what he is talking about. The $25 dollar unlimited plan might not pull through, but he said most likely will launch with the iPhone if the plan is going to happen. So the iPhone is official for January 15th on 4g but the data plan right now is not a certain.

iPhone for Verizon, yea why not. iPhone for LTE(4G) i wouldn't bet any money on that one, im sure apple is saving that one for the next iphone. Just my 2 cents.

Hopefully this comes true although I'm not on Verizon it would still be good to see. There have been so much talk of it and hardware orders to back up the 4G iPhone too... Time will tell!
