    Default Custom Alarm Clock sounds

    Hello everyone!

I'm almost falling asleep here but I thought I'd create this topic :D

I wanted to ask if anyone know of any good sites with custom sounds for your alarm clock? I thought I'd change my alarm clock sound to something new and less annoying than my current one but can't seem to find any good sites for that.

Format can be anything really (wav/mp3 mostly).

    Hi.

I was in the same situation. So I decided to just use some good metal songs, which are heavy and likable enough to wake up in a good state of mind.

If you are more into calm songs, try some Enigma, Enya, Vangelis.

If you're going to use mp3s to create alarms I would recommend installing Audacity (Audacity: Free Audio Editor and Recorder). You can just open up an mp3 (or pretty much any other audio file) and clip out the bit you want to use for your alarm. This is particularly useful if the part you want is in the middle of the song, or if you want to make a really short alarm tone.

You can also use Adobe Audition as a substitute for audacity.

True, but if a little bit of audio snipping is all you need it for, Audition is probably overkill. Audacity is lightweight and completely free. There's even a portable version available so you can run it off a USB stick; you never know when it may come in handy when you're out and about.

Yea there's always an option to put songs but there must be a site out there where there's sounds hosted specifically for this :/

You want sounds like...different ringers? Random noises that aren't a song but are less annoying than what you have? Just trying to clarify. I don't know of any place like that since I think most people default to songs if they don't like the ringers.
(I guess you could try searching for something like this- CalmAlarms.com | Calm & gentle nature themed cell phone ringtones for your mobile phones alarm clock, iPhone, BlackBerry in .m4r & .mp3 ?)

The best alarm clock is the sugar hill gang alarm(from Scrubs). Check it out at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CtAlZB2iqCU :) You just need to take one of the cut down clips and convert to mp3 or whatever. Been using it for years on my iPhone!
