Thread: How long do trackers stay closed to new invites?

I am wondering how long HDME is not going to allow new invites? When other trackers have done this in the past is it for long periods of time? Short periods of time? How will I know when they finally do reopen it?

Some will never have open signups because they don't need it. The demand just from closed invites is enough to keep them at a good user level. Some don't want a ton of members since its harder to build a small active community with so many members.

You can check that tab on the top "open torrents" to get an idea of how often a specific tracker opens signups.

You can use OpenTrackers - The place to look for open private trackers! for this purpose. According to OT, they have never been open. The only annoying part is that you can't get email notices when certain trackers are open, you just have to check back manually.
You're most likely going to have to find an invite for that one.

They pretty much stay closed indefinitely.

I don't think I've ever seen a private tracker that's closed invites ever be open to invites again.
