3D/Vfx community Holler!

Hey guys,



I am really into 3d, been in it for like 8 years now. Vfx etc. etc. I use mostly Maya, Nuke, Realflow and am big on gnomon and digital tutor lessons ( I pretty much watch one tutorial a night before I sleep). I am gonna try to learn python and focus on my dynamics side of things, perhaps, even learning houdini.

I was wondering how many of you are out there? Do say hello =)

Hi there.

I work in 3D Studio Max for 3 years now doing 3D clips for autostereoscopic displays. I work in a company which deals most with virtual reality and 3D environment. I will start to learn Rhinoceros soon for better modeling because 3DS Max I use it mostly for animations. Hope we get in touch and exchange some opinions and maybe find others in this community who are doing 3D.

That is a lot fewer 3d people then I expected. hahaha

Anyway HELLO catalinloco! I actually want to learn Modo for modeling. Seems a lot for efficient. Houdini is a big thing on my list to learn too.

You should check out fxphd if you're into the online courses. By far the best I've found. They cover a wide range things outside of pure VFX too.

Hi all 3D and VFX artist , i am also in 3D and in vfx i am using Real FLow , photoshop , Fusion , Maya , 3d's Max , AE and other few softwares . Good to see this thread :)
