Thread: Would you order a mail-order bride?

So, one day my wife and I got into the subject of mail-order brides and she went on about how terrible that is because you dont know who is ordering them and what the man will do etc. I personally know someone who had a mail-order bride and had a great time with her. He knew that after she gained citizenship she was going to leave him so when she did he accepted it. I told her that most of the girls were most likely going to have a better life than what they had in russia so whats so bad about that? Today, she found a random article about a guy that killed his mail-order bride and was all like "ha ha i told you". It got me thinking about if I was single and 40, would I order one? Would any of you order one? Why? Why not?

I think personally I would have to much pride ever to do this. But hey some people just dont care and would rather take fake companionship over none. Crazy world we live in

Dont think it will work, beeing to gether with a person you dont know at all cant be good. You will also know that most of them are after your money. So i will not do it.

I know 2 guys that did this and suspect a third (I don't know him that well). The two, both got Philippinoes and neither was particularly happy with the outcome. I have considered it myself, most American women just leave much to be desired. They're independent as long as they are spending your money, odds are they will be sleeping with be someone else as well. I'm away from home a lot, opportunity+willingness= her on someone elses dick. Experience has left me with a very low opinion of women.

Time is precious and three or four years of fun is not worth the potential problems a mail order bride comes with.

It would have to depend on age and of course looks! A Mail Order Bride should be all about that and not about intelligence of communication skills!!!
