It is not the same.You itrade someone for giving you an invite.And reputation on the other hand is something totally diffrent.That's the rep icon .Simply click on it and approve the post.That's how you add rep to a user.This icon you can see up right on yours or somebody else's post in the forum.So i hope i helped you mate.
