I never thought this day would be so soon! Facebook surpasses Google on minutes spent by Americans. For non-Facebook users, keep in mind Google isn't just a search engine, it also contains Gmail and Youtube as well. Facebook users can even share news as Youtube clips and despite that, Facebook still passed Google!

I have noticed that all my friends are complete Facebook addicts. No like serious addicts... who can't be logged off for more than 10 minutes at a time. I never got into that, it just didn't feel "real" enough to me.

Facebook is pretty huge. I see it taking up more and more of my friends' and families' time. Even I'm slowly getting sucked into the damn thing! I guess I can't blame people because it is a pretty versatile website. Games, tweet-like messaging, and networking. And what even makes it all the more attractive is that it's its own app on phones so you can Facebook anywhere and anytime!

Yeah...But I still use google more than facebook...

Well, i think we should start a war against facebook with protests and etc lol

Personaly I don't use that much facebook (I log in twice a month for about 10 minutes to decline friend and other requests), because I believe it's a waste of time. I prefere to meet my friend in real life and not through a social network. However I have to admit that two years ago I was a facebook addict too, but i got over it.

On the other hand google is all over me now. Daily I spent about 2-3 hours to google's services such as gmail/igoogle/youtube. Plus, soon I'll own a smartphone with google's android....
I like google, but this company has already penetrate into our lives (everywhere wou can find an application/t-shirts/other with google's brand) and i don't know if this is really good or not ....

Before it was just another social network (friendster was popular in our area that time). Now, I can't believe what they are now. My friends are pretty addicted to it especially to the apps. I am glad I'm not desperate, like them, to build a farm and sell friends. I prefer physical meetings as much as possible.

i was avoiding facebook for a long time but with almost all the family and friends on it was a losing battle. if you can't beat them join them...............

considering 90% of college kids are on facebook and have it open during class...at lunch...pretty much 24/7 this doesnt surprise me...

when facebook starts doing things with net neutrality, affordable internet etc etc...and has the stock value of google...then ill be impressed

Never used it neither I plan to.

I have a fcebook account but i'm really skeptical about it and I don't like the fact that facebook have all this information about people, they know our name who is our friend what do we like and so on. That can't be a good thing :/
