Thread: How do you shave / Any other DE shaver's on here?

I buy a really good shaving oil called "Shave Secret"

Wether you're shaving your mug or your coinpurse it provides a superior shave to lotions and lather. It will help prevent breakout, and it smells really nice.

I mostly just use a Gillette fusion with gel. I do have an old DE razor but thats the last thing i want to mess around with after i get up for work.

I still use the old tried and true gillette mach 3 razors myself along with gillette brand shaving cream.

I began with a merkur DE razor but since 6 month I practice with my hardcore cut throat ... it was a present from my wife ... well I assure you she loves me :)

But it feels so nice and relaxing to prepare the razor, the beard and then proceed with the cut. But it takes more time that the DE so I don't use it everyday. When in stress I use the merkur because I don't want to get cut ^^

Good to hear! How long do you think it took you to get your technique on the straight? It took me a while on the DE to get that super close shave most people go for.

I'm thinking of doing the Truefitt and Hill straight razor class. Though it ain't cheap at 80£ for an hours lesson.

I got my Super Speed. A good soap is the last remaining thing I need to embark into a new era .

I wait until I look like a Taliban. Then I cut off all the wisdom with a hair trimmer :)
