Does anyone have a myth true/false on this? "Random warning from email box" usually sends up big red flags on my internet-'o-meter. (Forwards from grandparents make the meter explode, btw ;) )

Anyways, is this even possible? If it is, it's scary. Couldn't they do this with tons of other torrents too? Isn't this one of the reasons we use private trackers in the first place?
