    Default Social media survey

This is a survey we took in my Communications course. I found the results so interesting that I thought it would be interesting to share the survey with the T-I Community.

Question: If you had a product to sell, which celebrity would you hire to endorse it and why?

    1. Celebrity's Name
    2. Age and Sex of Person Taking Survey (This means YOU!)
    3. Reason for choosing the Celebrity

Don't think too hard about it, but give a genuine answer. Have fun!

EDIT: The product you choose to sell is entirely up to you. The idea around this survey is to see the difference in society due to the participant's specific generation.

    Thanx,

    1. Morgan Freeman.
    2. 18 year old male.
    3. I think if I would sell a serious product I would take a person that makes a serious impression and to me Morgan Freeman would do the job perfectly.

    1. Hugh Jackman
    2. 18 years old male
    3. I believe Hugh Jackman can promote a lot of products very well. He is handsome and he can affect both sexes from the age of 13 to 50.

Default Ideally, it woul totally depends upon the product to be sold!

    1. Celebrity's Name: Pierce Brosnan
    2. Age and Sex of Person Taking Survey:25-34 Male
    3. Reason for choosing the Celebrity: His personality with the persona he has portrayed in many movies and on TV would be ideal to reach a wider audience of both sexes.

@ A TEAM: Thanks for coming up with this survey. Can't help but think-wouldn't details regarding the product range or type hold more significance and importance in such a survey?
Also, does the "Age and Sex of Person Taking Survey" signify our age and sex or the age & sex of the target audience

    1. Celebrity's Name: Robert Downey, Jr.
    2. Age and Sex of Person Taking Survey: 21, male
    3. Reason for choosing the Celebrity: why the heck not? Iron Man is popular as all heck, the man looks great in a suit and he can pull off the "I know EXACTLY what i'm doing, will look good doing it, and will joke about it along the way, check this out, you know you wanna be like me" look.

By celebrity, are we talking someone recognised for TV/film? Or is it more general? Sportsman, famous scientists, poets and writers?

I think for the majority of products, the celebrity chosen should be related to that product specifically.

i.e golf clubs - Tiger Woods (maybe not now)

Perfumes/cosmetics would probably sell well with endorsements from famous film and tv stars.

    Technological items? Then scientists/engineers.

Personally at the moment (in Britain) I would probably choose Jenson Button/Lewis Hamilton. They have the fame and exposure, are on the TV a lot at the moment, and are creating interest in the general public. I'm 26 :)

funny that you would create this post but I would say that I would buy ANYTHING that the A-Team of old would endorse. Im 33 and cannot tune past a channel that has an old rerun of them on. Also David Hasselhoff. "The Hoff says Buy THIS!"
