Well well it’s going to be my one year T-I anniversary in 18 days (23/08/10) and this is going to be my 1000th post, o boy, so i thought i would just make a thread to thank T-I and its wonderful members.
This is undoubtedly the best torrent invites site on the net, this place is just amazing. Joining back on the 23rd of August 2009 my main goal was to join many exciting trackers that i had heard about namely TL, BMTV, Iplay, SCC, etc. I just wanted to join this place, get them invites and leave, that was my mentality at the beginning. Though that quickly changed, i saw this place and it's wonderful members and knew that this place had potential. After quickly receiving a number of invites i was very pleased and remained with this wonderful site, i thought it was all about the invites at first but boy o boy how wrong i was as this place is much more than that, it is like a wonderful connected family. I reached most on the invites that i wanted but then still here i am at this site as i could not leave it, it’s just an incredible site and the members and staff here are just great.
Over my time here i have met and made many good, nice, generous, caring and intelligent friends. I would like to thank the following members in no specific order for making my time here ever so great.
Dave - The founder of T-I, to you i and everyone here owes the biggest thank you, you started this project and didn't give up on it and look at the site now, undoubtedly "THE BEST INVITE SITE ON THE WEB".
enday - The person who gave me the opportunity to join this wonderful tracker, i want to thank you for repping me in and being a great friend to me.
fahim - You are just awesome fahim, an extremely nice member and generous member who donated for my and SilverSurfer V.I.P, i am extremely grateful and thankful that you gave me the opportunity to experience the T-I V.I.P community. You are so friendly and nice to talk to, and it has been great to talk to you. I hope that I have made you proud.
JustJenna - First and foremost Happy Birthday (Late, i know and I’m sorry). One of the extremely hard working staff members of this site with the highest reputation and also highest post count, just goes to show how exceptional she is and how much we love and respect her. Thank you Jenna for everything, you have been a great friend to me, helping me on my various problems throughout my time here. Paying for my one month seedbox that i won due to the 150 posts competition, slightly changing my username, reversing my infraction, and many more. Thank you Jenna you are truly a lovely person who has done ever so much for T-I. You are like the pillars that hold up this place and i can't imagine it without you.
Signus - One of the coolest staff members around. You have done ever so much for T-I and for everything you have do i thank you. Your presence and what you do here is visible to all, no wonder you are the 3rd highest repped person on T-I. We all love you, but not as much as Jenna.
Vegas - Well Vegas you have contributed ever so much to this site. Being a the previous leader of the T-I Hall of Fame and having an amazing lot of igivers, its easy to see how much you have committed to this site and how much we love you. Also your cheaters, scammers, etc eye is unbelievable.
Ixius - An excellent staff member and very nice person, who is extremely helpful. Starting out he was quickly noticed by staff and changed our server to a better one when he was finally promoted to Super Mod. He contributes alot of his time to this forum and would be more than grateful to help you out if you had a problem, and i thank him for all that he has done for T-I.
ethicks - One heck of a guy. A stellar of a staff member who has contributed alot and i mean alot to this site. Thank you ethicks for all that you have done for T-I, and being the 4th highest repped member just tells you how much we love you.
Balauru - An amazing staff member who has contributed tremendously to T-I, nearing the 2000 posts mark and the 100 igivers its easy to see how committed he is to T-I. You have done an excellent job Balauru and i do miss your presence around here as you haven't been that active recently, for all that you have done for T-I, i thank you.
TheLetterZ - Thanks for filling my SCC request as well as supplying me with a seedbox to buffer the account. You have been an awesome friend to me, and i remember when you first joined and were below me in rep :001_tongue:and now look at you, the 2nd highest repped member, a truly deserved position LetterZ. Your generosity doesn't go missed handing out invites, V.I.P and seedboxes like candy on Halloween.
Eschaton - An all around fantastic member who's presence and commitment at T-I can be seen everywhere in every section of the forum to invites and to conquest. You are an amazing member Eschaton who has been here for a year and is close to his 1000th post, I thank you for all that you have done for T-I.
Flutrose - flutrose, flutrose, flutrose, where to begin and where to end. You are just an exceptional member of this site, a true leading role model of a T-I member. Thank you for taking all the time to answer my various intro questions and for being such a helpful and nice friend to me. I have dearly missed you and hope that you have been recovering well, and hope to see you return to T-I soon.
Jekata - Where have you been man! Boy have i missed your presence. You were like an inspiration to me, and i aimed to be just like you one day. Your amazing G/A, posts, and bullseye shots at cheaters, scammers, etc is just unbelievable. You are a complete package and one of T-I's finest members. I hope that you return soon as your presence has been missed.
bridskid - My good old friend. You are just an amazing person to talk to. Your hard work here at T-I paid off when you were promoted to a well deserved Mod position, congratulations my friend. You have made my time here just exceptional, your G/As, threads, posts are all a joy to read, and for that i thank you.
Darius - Undoubtedly one of, if not my best friend here at T-I. You are just a fantastic member Darius, your commitment to this site is unbelievable and your presence has made this place all the better. Thank you for joining this community and thank you for being such a nice and helpful person whenever i talk to you.
el2em - Wow my friend, boy your G/As are just exceptional. Being like TheLetterZ and giving invites, seedboxes, etc like candy. You are just a nice, kind and generous member of T-I who has made a significant change to the feeling of T-I. Having the mother of all user notes i have seen on this site, with the mix of everything from the hot, to your egoistic third person posts, it has been enjoyable to read your notes. Thank you for being a great friend to me and for contributing soooooo much to T-I.
staffrodore - One of T-I's finest members who i looked up to and wanted to be like when i joined T-I. Your posts, G/As and threads are just amazing and its been great to get to read the stuff you write. You are an exceptional member, a huge amount of igivers and rep, as well as a well deserved Exalted status. I thank you staffy for all that you have done for T-I, without you it would not be the same.
jcomte15 - Thank you jcomte for filling my seedbox request so quickly and late on extending it for me, it greatly helped me to buffer my trackers. You have been so nice to me and it has been great to talk to you.
Luffy - Thank you for designing me various avatars and signatures over my time here. I don't know where you have been, but i sure have missed you. I hope that you return to this site, soon. You have been a great friend to me and thanks for replying so quickly and politely to my PMs to you. I love my LOST avatar and have had it for sooo long now, thank you for creating it for me.
pure_contact - An awesome member who i just realized is not on my friends list yet, boy how could this be. I thank you for all that you have done for T-I. This member is exceptional, having reached 109 igivers and nearing the 1000 posts milestone. It is just great to read your posts, and threads.
mastercox - Well i couldn't go this post without mentioning you. Your GFX work is just utterly amazing, thanks for making me various avatars and signatures along my time here. You are just a really nice guy and it’s been great to talk to you, and have you around.
OrioN - Thank you for giving me an opportunity to join SCC back in the days, even though my speed isn't the best. I’m sorry that i didn't put the account into great use and got it disabled for inactivity.
s2cuts - An awesome member of T-I. Having joined T-I around the time i joined, only 3 days before me (20/08/09) your 1 year anniversary is soon to come as well. You are just an amazing member who has achieved so much in 1 year’s time, and your posts are always great to read. Thank you for committing so much great time to this community and being very friendly to talk to.
SilverSurfer - Hehe another exceptional member who joined about my time (19/08/09), it appears that all fantastic members join around this time of year, so intro workers be on the lookout in the next couple of weeks to come:001_tongue:. Thank you SilverSurfer for being such a great and easy to talk to friend of mine. Your posts and work here at T-I has been of the highest standard and it’s just great that fahim picked both me and you for V.I.P, i just hope we didn't let fahim down, and i truly think we have done exceptionally well.
Synth - A person that i must include in this post. You are just a brilliant T-I member who has contributed alot to this site. Your G/As, posts and threads are always a pleasure to read. Also a very nice person to talk to, and who also is working hard at our sister site. Your most recent promotion to Intro Moderator is well deserved and i know you will do a fantastic job at it. Thank you for contributing sooooo much to T-I.
MikeD - Boy o Boy, if you ever have any seedbox problem or inquiry this is the person to ask. Thank you MikeD for answering and helping me with my various n00b seedbox questions, helping me learn all about VPS, seedbox, and ftp. Your knowledge when it comes to this sort of stuff is extraordinary and you are always keen to share your knowledge with us and help us out with our problems in the nicest and most polite way. You are always patient and if we don't understand the first second or third time you are always prepared to explain it a 4th time until we understand it completely. Thank you for all your time here and for your wonderful tutorials, your warm, kind and vibrant nature is just so motivational and it’s been great to have you around.
Sirius - i can't possibly forget you. You have been ever so nice to me and have contributed so much to T-I, and i can talk about your un-missable generosity, with the amazing G/A's that you hold, giving many members of our community to join various awesome trackers of which one is TT. When i joined you were one of the people that i wanted to out rank in the reputations page and i am so pleased that i managed to due to your absence for some time. I haven't seen you as active as before but hope that you are doing well and that your activity will return to how it was before. Thank you for everything you have done for T-I.
TankGirl - Well you have achieved so much at T-I and it has been all due to your hard-work and commitment here at T-I. Your work in the intros alongside hummingbird and fluty is just astonishing. I don't know how you have all the time and patience to deal with the midgets but you do, and bring in some of the nicest people into our community. I could swear that i remember you becoming a mod but now it appears as Lead Intro Worker, though i am sure if i remember correctly you were promoted that’s unless i was dreaming. Thank you for everything you have done for T-I and being such a great person to talk to, one of T-I's finest female members.
Hummingbird - Another of T-I finest female members (We don't get many of them) who is just so kind and nice to talk to. Your work in the intros sections is staggeringly awesomeirifically amazing, i can't describe how much work you put into there. Moving up the site from promotion to promotion until you finally reached Mod, and an exceptional one too i may add. I don't get where you get all your time from and considering that not too long ago you had a baby i would have thought your activity would decrease but it hardly did, still the same amount of input. Hope the boy has given you some joy in the past months and hasn't been too naughty. One of those members who makes a real difference to this place, thanks for everything Hummingbird.
Veritas - Oh Veritas my good old friend. A truly good caption in your status that fits exactly my description of you "a senior T-I member" who has contributed unbelievably to T-I. I remember when i joined i aimed to surpass you in rep even if so for like a day and i achieved that goal for sometime before you retook the lead, but don't worry I’m after you, and the battle between us has not ended, and i shall surpass you once again :001_tongue:. You are an exceptional member who has been a great friend to me, thanks for everything you have done for T-I.
what - Undoubtedly the most generous member that T-I has had to date. An unbelievable 368 igivers, and an enormous amount of reputation. Like Buckyshort you have help many reach their dream trackers and for your generosity i thank you what.
DX - A really good friend of mine, who is very nice to talk too. Thanks for being very nice and easy to talk too.
FranticD - Also a great friend of mine, it has been great to know you and to talk to you over my time here, though your activity has ceased in the last period, where are you?
Frizz - A good friend who mine who is great to talk too, also a person who hasn't been actively lately, hope to see you around the forums soon.
GiGA - Who could possibly forget GiGA, i don't talk to you much GiGA but when i do from time to time it goes down fairly well. You are an exceptional member of this site and have contributed so much to this forum. A member with a stunning amount of reputation and respected by many including myself. Congratulations on joining FtN and also one of the only people that i have seen to get their Pedro's BTMusic request to be filled in a day, just goes to tell you how much people love him =].
Rellik - An extremely hard working member of this site who has worked tirelessly in the forums until finally being recognized for all his hard work and being promoted to Moderator, i congratulate and thank you for all that you have done for T-I Rellik.
VectorKing - Even though i haven't knew you for long it has been great to talk to you. Your photoshop skills are just fantastic and thank you for all the nice tutorials you put up, they really helped me improve my skills, the photoshop pack and also for replying really quickly to my PMs.
forbidden - An excellent member of this community and congratulations on winning V.I.P thanks to TheLetterZ, a truly worthy member. Not too long ago you reached the 1000 posts mark and i told you that soon my friend i would follow in your footsteps to this milestone and finally i too am here. You are just a fantastic member who is just enjoyable to talk too.
Admiral - A fairly recent member but moving up the ranks quick. You are just a fantastic member who commits alot of time to this site. Thank you for giving me a Microsoft 2010 Pro key even though it didn't work i still appreciate your generosity.
MrInternet - How i could forget you i don't know. I remember back in the days Mr Internet when you had the fat comic nerd from the Simpson's as your avatar, hehe those days seem like such a long way back. Your generosity and contributions here at T-I go un-missed trust me on that. Your promotion to Exalted was a well deserved one and I congratulation you on the achievement, hopefully i will reach there someday =]. Your also a funny guy and its interesting to read many of your posts and talk to you. Thank you for all that you have committed to T-I Mr Internet, this place would be a lot less interesting without your, Schmako and McLovin's presence.
Schmak - Hehe the special status "Sheep Shagger" from my neighboring country, New Zealand. Undoubtedly one of em funny members that make this place a whole lot better. Definitely another worthy member of Exalted status. I don't talk to you much and that is something i regret but hopefully in the time to come i will interact and talk more with you. Though i see your amazing posts and contributions to this site and for everything you have done for T-I i thank you. One of the members of the three musketeers.
McLovin - Well were to begin, an extremely funny member thats where. Your posts and jokes are just hilarious, i find your presence gives alot of joy and entertainment to this place, you make it more vibrant and warm. Formally known as Filele back in the days, boy have you come a long way, i want to congratulate you on all that you have achieve her at T-I and thank you for giving us the great times and hope that you will continue too. You + Schmak + Mr Internet = Ultra EPICness.
Lucky21 - A exceptional member who also brings alot of joy to this place. Whenever i talk to you or read your posts, they have that tint of excitement and funny side to them. You have achieved so much here at T-I most recently becoming a Mod Intro, keep up the fantastic work Lucky. Thanks you for all the awesome posts, threads and laughs.
AfterMidnight - A excellent member whose writing talent was witnessed by all when he used to write his amazing and interesting articles. Also a very nice and easy to talk to person. I loved your articles back in the days and hope that you make more in the future, for all the wonderful articles you wrote i thank you.
andi - A fantastic friend of mine, who has been really friendly and easy to talk to. My friend i don't know where you have been lately but i sure miss your presence and our rivalry in Conquest. Man me and you have been fighting in conquest for i don't know how long. With a staggering 122 igivers and a hugh amount of rep its easy to see how much you have committed to T-I and how much we love you. Thank you for all that you have done.
morph - A excellent member of this community who has done so much for T-I. Damn morph your work in the tracker reviews section is unbelievable, it amazing how you made some many reviews. I congratulate you on what you have achieved on T-I and thank you for all that you have done for T-I.
konVILEuted - Another member who hasn't been as active as in the past recently and whose presence is being missed greatly. Your hard-work and commitment through the site with your posts, G/As, tutorials and suggestions is just exceptional. A truly worthy Exalted member who has done alot for T-I. I thank you for all that you have done konVILEuted.
Reducto - One of the coolest members around who has made T-I all the better. Your presence has only had a positive impact on T-I though your activity in the last period has ceased and i seem to be missing your posts and thread. I hope to see your activity return soon and thank you for all that you have done for T-I.
Buckyshort - No one and i mean no one can not see what a generous and nice member you are. With an amazing 241 igivers it is easy to see your commitment and generosity towards T-I. You are an exceptional member who has helped many achieve their dream trackers and for that i thank you Buckyshort.
pegasus28 - A long standing T-I member who has been here for a year, with an exceptional reputation and 6 more igivers til he officially joins the T-I 100 igiver club. Congratulations on your amazing achievement pegasus28 and i thank you for all that you have done.
I originally didn't want to write this because I knew that i will miss out some fantastic members who have been wonderful and helpful friends to me, and if i did I’m sorry, you know who you are. I want to thank all the people on my friends list and all the people here at T-I that have made this place somewhere special, and all those who have helped me over my time here.
I have seen T-I move forward greatly of my time here. And here are some of the things that i remember occurring (in no specific order) just to cap off my year and to let the new members in on the advancements that T-I has had, though like i said i won't remember everything:
- Introduction of the radio that failed due to not much activity.
- Introduction of Intro mods, Mods, Exalted, News writers(removed) and News Editors.
- Total revamp of the site with the sexy T-I v2.
- Seedbox section introduced.
- V.I.P 2 open requests at a time, Exalted 3 open requests at a time and Staff 4 open requests at a time.
- Introduction of the arcade.
- Introduction of the exciting Conquest.
- Embedded YouTube links.
- Introduction of new sister site (OpenTrackers - The place to look for open private trackers!)
- Departure of much loved staff members such as reksat and synthesis from their positions and introduction of new staff namely Hummingbird, bridskid, Rellik, Ixius and (Tankgirl).
- Recruitment deal with BTN.
- Introduction of Employment and Education sections which were later removed.
- The introduction of the controversial groan button.
- Fifa world cup section introduced for world cup.
- Movement to a new server provided by Ixius.
These are just some of the advancements that have occurred over my time here, and it can be seen what a massive achievement and upgrade this place has gotten over just one year. Hopefully T-I will continue to grow in a positive direction.
I will sum all up by saying thank you to everyone for making this place the best torrent invites forum on the net, from the members to the ever so hard working staff members who have consistently being working to improve this place. Thanks for Dave for beginning this site and hopefully it will remain for a long time to come. Thanks to all my friends and wonderful members who have made this place into what it is here, it is an overall achievement of the entire community and not just one or two individual. May T-I and its members live long and prosper (The Big Bang Theory quote). Here her to one year and 1000 posts and hopefully i will reach a second year.
New members who join our community, it may be hard and seem harsh at first but stick around and you won't regret it and soon you will come to the realization that it is the best "Torrent Invites" site on the net.
Staff i will keep this open for about a week so that people if they want can congratulate me on my latest milestone and after that i will close this thread.
