Default How do you keep your trackers from being pruned?

I know that a lot of members here have more than 5 trackers they use, and some have like 20.

I also know that all trackers prune account after a period of inactivity. Some prune it even after 2 weeks of inactivity.
I also know some trackers allowing you to park the account.

So how do you manage to keep activity to all your trackers?
What do you do if you wanna go for a long vacation abroad?
TL for example has no option to park the account. So lets say im going for a trip for like 3-6 months.. that means no TL account anymore. And im sure TL is not the only one.

So, how exactly you do that?

keep a VNC server or RDP open and forwarded threw your router so u can hit it externally from a laptop from wherever you are so u can remote manage it and keep it active.... or just keep seeding and hope your power doesnt go out or hope your box dont reset...i recommed keeping a way to remote manage your box from home....other option could be to use a seedbox, or if u dont have internet access where your on vacation then have a TRUSTED friend remote manage your box.

    :)

you stop being an account collector, no one really needs to be a member of 20-200 trackers, it's pointless

    hehehe, right :)

I guess the simplest way is to make a list of all your trackers and once a month to login :) that's it.

I think it would be quite simple using FireFox and bokmarking all trackers you want then you can open at the same time with no problem to manage your trackers.
But there's something important to know about collectors, some of them start with very good trackers and very active communities where they do make friends. Suppose you are on this situation, probably will maintain this trackers very active but still wanna try new trackers to know how good the next tracker should be.

I have a TL account and a PT account and i also used to have a TD account before they blocked my IP range. So 2 acounts...I doubt you can call that an account collector :)

Anyway, The thing is that to prevent the account from being pruned, login to them wont cut it. You need to download\upload something in order for your account to be called "active". Thats atleast what i know

Its pretty easy if you have less than 10 and all sites should have a parking option for vacations.
