Why not make another xp, with newer security features?

I really hope one day I wake up and year on the news that Microsoft is being bought out by Apple. It would be a better world.

Now that is an innovation that MS has been trying to pull off for years... if they could finally get Roaming Identities to work correctly (and even better to host the identities on their server on their cloud), this could definitely be a big win for them. Just imagine logging on to ANY pc with the correct version of Windows and being able to have all of yours settings, links, programs.. etc. I can't wait to see how this turns out.

Wow if they actually manage to do that it would be awesome.

As far as pushing out OS's too fast, after Win8 comes out and they'll still have a substantial amount of users on XP they'll probably stop supporting the XP version citing that they released 3 new OS's after XP

OS from google would be better

it is totally ridiculous, Windows7 just lounched but maybe Microsoft can louche a very good service pack for Windows7
