Thread: Would you rather see a movie at home or at the cinemas? Give reasons.

Would you rather go out to the cinemas with that huge screen, popcorn and a bunch of people you don't know or stay at home, all tucked up and cozy to watch a movie? Please elaborate and give reasons on why you picked the option.

In home. With a good HDTV set, a good Blu-ray player and a good sound system. It blows away the experience of the cinemas. Cinemas have crying babies, have people laughing at stupid things, people texting on their phones, etc.

At home, you don't have any of that. And best of all, no price of admission or the ripoff you have to pay for drinks and snacks.

Also, you can pause movies at home! Best feature ever. :P

depends. If the movie is worth watching and I cant wait to see it I will go to the theatres. But usually I download and watch at my computer and if I am really wanting to get the full effect, burn to dvd and watch on my lcd tv :)

never ever go to cinemas , better things to spend my money on + cinemas are usually full of douchebags

I usually goto the imax, that shit is awesome. Once in awhile I will hit on the cinema. Usually though I watch them on my computer.

home. (surround sound with big screen tv) This i can buy put together myself, but at the end of the day, nothing beats feeling of being in the cinema with other ppl, hearing there screams and laughter, Don't think that a home theather can give me that fealing so i'll stick to the cinema!

xD cinema is cool but expensive here in germany 7 euro a film xD so i only watch real great films there
