When it comes to these both i would say freedom bcoz freedom in the sense we are free to do anytin and nobody can question us
I, of course, voted for freedom but I must say that these 2 things, peace & freedom, should go together... I mean, if U have peace, there should be freedom with it, as well... unfortunately, if U have freedom, it's not necessary that there's peace too...
if U go deeper in all this, U see that both terms are very relative...
what's freedom ? the opposite term of being in jail or ? many people are litteraly free nowadays but yet they are imprisoned in various ways... for instance : many people are obligated to pay bank credits, many people have to work on 2-3 jobs just to survive without any opportunity to enjoy in life... this is when it comes to freedom...
we car argue about peace in the same way... there are many wars, around the world, in this very minute... eventhough U live in a country without a war, it doesn't mean, by default, that there should be peace... people today are alienated, introverted, nervous, occupied with their own economical situation so, maybe it's ironic, but it's easier to obtain the global peace than find it & maintain it in yourself...
You cannot have freedom and peace coincide in one society the reason is this: freedom is being able to do anything you want to anyone you want, this includes murder, rape, and so forth. Real freedom is anarchy, which leads to war, and ultimately doesn't allow peace. This has been proven historically time and time again, and is indisputable. I do believe in freedom, but not total freedom. To live in safety you must exchange some of your freedom for your well being. This is the unspoken agreement between you and the government of your country. yes both are possible, but not entirely. you can have 100% freedom, but then you cannot have any peace whatsoever, and you can have 100% peace but then compromise all of your freedom. Ultimately the best option which is used in democratic societys is 50% freedom, 50% peace. If I really had to choose between no freedom or total anarchy I would rather commit suicide.

Peace means international "get along", nations coexisting without conflict on this majestic Earth. That will never happen, every country has it's interests, pride, or simply a contender to the "throne",so peace will never happen , so there is no point to vote for it.
Freedom on the other hand is all you can wish for, it's like nothing can stand in your way,as long as you do not violate other peoples freedom. So freedom can happen, but i have to note the fact that total freedom will never exist.

I think peace is more important than freedom because if a person is free to commit rape or murder then there is no point to be free...peace is definitely more imnportant...we are civilised
Freedom trumps peace, in my opinion, as long as the latter isn't compromised to attain the former. What's the point in being free if there can't be any time to appreciate it?
I vote freedom. True peace is unobtainable due to limited resources and a large population. I don't think we can all get along, but being free (within limits) would be nice. I say would be nice as an American cause I do not believe I live and a free country. In a free country I could pull bong hits on my front porch legally. But like peace, too much freedom is anarchy, so there needs to be a balance. I just hope at some point we get that balance right.
Isn't it possible to have peace and not be civilized?
I personally don't believe that all the nations and countries could live peacefully without some, or at least one, being slave of another. I think to succeed to have peace all over the world, somebody, a country or more would be enslaved. That of course wouldn't be civilized, right?

You can't have one without the other. How my native language teacher says, "Your freedom ends when someone's else begins"(that meaning you're allowed to do anything only to a certain point). So peace 50% and freedom 50% for me, like vectorking. If you are civilized and understand what freedom means and what it consists of, you can easily pick the second choice.
