Hi, I'm wondering where do you guys shop around for things that are not expensive but still good to use.
For example, I went to a garage sale looking for fishing poles. He had a bunch of fishing poles that was labeled $15 for a piece and I asked him how much for 3? He said how about $25 and I agreed immediately. Because if I were to go to Walmart and purchase one fishing pole, it would run me about $25-30 at the cheapest, while here, I can get 3 used but good ones for really cheap. Garage sale is a great place to buy things because the owners just want to get rid of the things he is selling and you can talk him into good deals.
Another great place that I visit often and subscribe to their mailing service isSuperMediaStore.com for special deals on all sort of stuff like media storage (DVD's), electronic stuff, and other random things. They would sometimes give you free stuff like DVD folders, free DVD sleeves, and special discounts, ect. Best Buy, Walmart, and other retail stores don't give you that shit...
This sort of thing made me think, why the hell would we all run to Walmart, Best Buy, and other retail stores that we assume would give us good prices but really doesn't. We can get the exact same things for cheap elsewhere. After all, one man's trash is another man's treasure in tough times.
So, give me some good tips and ideas on where do you shop for good deals! What are some great websites that you often visit for deals? Where do you go or often stop in for good deals?
We can all learn from each other and share good stories! Anything helps.
