Default Seedbox FTP what software so you use to access it

I was wondering if you just use the web browser to access the FTP on a seedbox.
I am thinking that a we browser won't be that good for a torrent that is like 50GB.
What software do you people use to get files off your seedboxes?

Filezilla, but if its a large single file, Filezilla may not be able to max your connection speed, you would need something can split the file and do a multi-threaded transfer such as CuteFTP. Personally I just use Filezilla and then if its a big file I just use putty to split it into rars for transferring at max speed.

Besides Filezilla and CuteFTP (that are the most used by me), you can use FTP RUSH to download from a FTP to other FTP or simply to use it like the other two.

Just like the other users stated, the best FTP clients imo are CuteFTP, FileZilla and my overall favorite FTPRush. They all allow multiple thread downloads which seperates them from regular clients. Some even allow segmented downloading which is even better. Actually any FTP client that allows what i stated above would be a better choice for the FTP protocol because u are able to max out your connection with these clients. If u do still want to use FTP in your browser u could always use the Firefox extension FireFTP. Its a great client for when u dont feel like opening another program.

WinSCP is what I use for FTP. It's open-source and freeware so you can't go wrong with that WinSCP :: Free SFTP and FTP client for Windows

+1 on CuteFTP using Multi-thread downloads. Using Multi-thread helped me out with faster FTP transfers.

K... this thread seems to be quite informative....
Didnt knew about this at all, thanks lorro90 for bringing up this question../

One doubt though, this software can be used for both downloading as well as uploading(needed when you are going to up a new torrent on tracker)../

And cant IDM (Internet Download Manger) be used for downloading from seedbox via FTP??? I have used it for rapidshare and normal downloads, and it has worked out for me like charm../
