I've read every book on my bookshelf at least three times. Can anyone suggest anything? It would also be cool if you provide a short description. I'm a fan of Sci-Fi, adventure, and all sorts of other fiction. Not a huge non-fiction fan. Thanks in advance.

In the way of sci-fi you should check out Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say you've probably already read it as it's pretty much a staple of any sci-fi collection. The basic plot is that aliens are attacking Earth and them military has taken to breeding child geniuses.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas : A Savage Journey to the Heart of the American Dream
by Hunter S. Thompson is a great (and...interesting read) if you feel a little adventurous. I couldn't really do it justice by trying to sum it up, if you haven't heard of it or the movie do a search and watch the trailer for the movie.

My favorite book is the Catcher in the Rye, I actually had a whole summary about why I liked the book typed out on here, but while I was typing, stupid windows update wanted me to restart and while I was typing, a combination of letters I hit must have gave it the OK to restart which in return deleted all the text I had typed out. (Summary of my post: It's a good book, read it)

I would highly recommend Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. It's about the future and how humans will behave and how the government will regulate.. if I say anymore I'll reveal the book, but you can read it for free online at Brave New World by Aldous Huxley and it's not too long (about 150 pages in book form :P). Happy reading!

You can't go wrong with Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger (R.I.P.). That was one book that actually CAUGHT my attention in school. Another one would be Black Boy by Richard Wright which I found to be a good read.

Sophie's World. I liked it, not really in the Sci-fi area, but still a great novel about the history of philosophy.

+1 This my all time favorite book, I would also recommend Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail which gives a unique perspective on American Politics delivered in Hunters trade mark ruthless Gonzo style.
