Thread: Ways to Spend a Day Off

So the other day I was out of school and off from work with nothing to do. Didn't feel like gaming and didn't really have anything waiting to be watched. So I messed around on the internet for a bit and ran across this - problem solved. Somehow the majority of these have escaped me over the years, so I sit down and went down the list... If you don't get teary eyed on this one then you're a cylon.

When you're out of everything else to do, how to you spend a day off?

I saw that circulating last year, awesome story. Warms the heart.

The internet is wonderful for killing time. But sometimes on a free day, I love to just go unplugged - no TV, no video games, no internetz - and spend the day devouring a stack of library books. And if it's nice out, I'll take a book to the park. I'm such a nerd, but books are the best.

Wake up bright and early. Cross road, check surf. If its good run back eat some fruit or a little cereal, go and hit it up. No good? Not raining to hard? Get bikes on back of 4wd go MTB. Have a few days off with good weather. Head up the beach for some 4wd camping. Crap weather. Nerd it up with tonnes of gaming, reading, board games(a little carcasonne perhaps) then watch some TV/Sports vids/Movies. Indoor is always last resort stuck inside for work nowdays so it makes sense. Visit family is always a good wet weather option too.

I like to play soccer for killing time. Also making kites. Or if its night, watch the full moon with a telescope, Amazing !!!!! Sometimes I tink the PC/internet is arresting me, and then I want to fell my freedom and go do this things!

i would just not do anything and relax :)

the best way to pass time is to play music. I could play on the piano for 3 hours straight and not notice it was 3 hours, that or go to sleep, you can't beat sleep=]

Probably get baked and play video games with my friends. Or if it was summer get some shrooms and go on an adventure!

Sleep, sleep, wake up, eat, sleep...
