D-Link DIR 655
Asus 500G Premium with Tomato. Works well.
Had a bunch of Linksys WRT54G over the years. The first versions ran well. After it became clear Linksys was printing money with them, the quality nosedived along with the hardware specs.
Nowadays, cheap routers don't cut it for broadband. You're basically asking a puny 200MHz MIPS core to assume routing and firewall duties. For connections past 20 Mbps, it's better to pay for a faster processor.
Netscreen 25, connected to NB6 modem, internally Netgear Wireless N MAX.
I use the D-Link DIR655. I have a wired connection to my PC, which works great! But the wireless connection to the PS3 causes an error on occasion, shutting down all internet traffic! But with the Wii it seems to work fine. But I have googled this problem, which seems to be common for the DIR655, adjusted some security settings and for now it is running more consistently!
Netgear Range-Max WMR-3500v2 Gigabit router.
It's great, but has it's problems. Problems you'll find in any home-based routers though.
I'm using a Linksys WRT54G with DD-WRT. I'd like to say that it works well, but it disappoints a lot of times (sometimes it's almost too unresponsive). WRT160N is an option I've been looking for a replacement, but I haven't decided yet. Damn budgets. :D
I've been using the DIR-625 for the last few years. I'll be upgrading to a new gigabit router once I change my ISP soon though.
Linksys Wireless-G is what I use. I have thought about buying a better one but have never gotten around to it.
i belive i use tilgin something something and it works pretty good wireless and with wire :)
