Thread: Do you have a Valentine this year?

So who here is rocking the single boat or on the couples ship? What are you doing?



I'm single this year (shocking, for me), and I'm just hanging out on the 14th with my friends. Meh...

This Valentines Day I am spending with my hubby even though I am not a big fan of the holiday at all. My friends used to call me the grinch of Valentines day funny thing is I could be single or I could be in a relationship and either way I still feel the same way about the holiday. I can be a romantic and do something nice for hubby but I still feel it is just another commercial holiday. Why do I need a specific day to be told to tell by hubby I love you when I can do it at any time anywhere. Plus I dont want to be told when to give a gift for love. A spontaneous gift is so meaningful to me. Just my thoughts

I do have one boy I'd like to ask, but I have a very bad feeling it isn't going to turn out well.
This will probably end up as the first Valentines Day I spend single in two years.

Nice response, I see where your coming from. Valentines day IS, what you said, a commercial holiday for us to spend money. However, it's also the chance where "love" is in the air, people take chances, and make memorable moments with each other.

Just try, maybe it will turn out the opposite on what you expected. Or if you want, would you want to me my Valentine?

yes i have a valentine this year. My beautiful girlfriend of 3 years <3. We have a fun evening planned and dinner plans :). I hope everyone has a wonderful valentines day (commercial holiday or not ;) )

just like last year I will spend valentines day with my girlfriend ,i will go out with her to a restaurant or something,i din`t plan anything yet!

yeah i got a valentine, we're just gonna spend the day together, no real plans, just hang out and have some fun, watch a few movies when we get home

EDIT: also i got flyleaf tickets that she wanted so im gonna give them as a present

Nop I do not have a Valentine for this year, besides even if I had one I never had any feelings towards that holiday specifically since every year I spend that day working on my parents business...so basically that day is not for hanging out for me but a work day instead.
