Default Why you should clean your keyboard right this minute!

Ever think an uncleaned keyboard can be as dirty as say, a toilet seat?
    Well believe it!

blasto43 has a point there, its not about the things you can see that make your living/work area unclean, its the things you cant see, ie. bacteria and things along those lines which are present due to the right conditions, all you really need is a damp, somewhat warm place where you can have cycles of sunlight and darkness.

That's pretty disgusting, but using a laptop as my main computer there's not really a very effective way to clean the keyboard that I know of. It's too expensive for me to risk popping the keys out to clean it.

Spacebar still doesn't work quite right from the last time I did that.

Need help? PM me and I'll find you the answer.

haha. sick. I'm in the same boat as jschro. My enter key broke once I asked for a new one and they had to send a tech over to completely replace the entire keyboard. Had to completetly dissasemble the housing and take out the cooling fan and more to replace it! Lol I still don't see why they did that when they could have popped off the key from the new keyboard and put it in no prob. Oh well stupid dell.

How does this possibly belong in brain stew? Plus, aren't you supposed to be 55% before you can post in here?

I saw this on mythbusters and they proven it to be true. Your working place, your keyboard is probably dirtier than your toilet seat. People eat and work in front of their computers nowadays, probably with those bacteria in their meal too =)
