    Default BitmeTV without a seedbox.

The main tracker I really want to get on is BitMe.tv however reading the forum it seems that a lot of givers require a seedbox. Is it even possible to maintain a good ratio on this tracker without a seedbox? If not why? Is it because the torrents do not last long enough?

Just looking for some info before I start bothering people about an invite. I dont want to ruin peoples rep on the site if I am ever lucky enough to get an invite.

I used to be on bitmetv (with a seedbox) and unless you are willing to get pretty creative, I would not bother without a seedbox. The demand for content dies out VERY quickly and pretty much everybody there is using a seedbox so it is VERY tough without a seedbox. Fantastic site but I would recommend TVT for anyone without a seedbox.

Without a seedbox, I find it hard to seed in Bitmetv. I tried the 20 MB download method (downloading just 20 mb of a torrent and then seeding it) but it doesn't help that much. If you have the patience maybe to do this, you might find this effective. But it really consumes a lot of time and effort in your part.

I've never been on, nor have any intention on joining BMTV but I'd like to say I've never had anything close to good come out of seeding small portions of a torrent. (to be specific, not past 40MB)
Apparently, you have a much greater chance of sharing if you have more parts.

I think surviving is possible on all trackers no matter the difficulty .. with a lot of time and patience. You can't go on impulse and put preparation to disregard. Don't fall for something on BMTV you're die-hard to obtain or you'll end up under the 0 mark in no time.

If you haven't already, it might be smart to join other trackers under the same genre before BMTV. If you're satisfied with what they have there, then there's no need to join another.

cant u use the "grab while its new" method there? if you have a good connection, i dont think you will need a seedbox with this method

8-10 mbps? tv eps are roughly about 350 mb or the hd versionis 1.3 gb.. u would take max 20 min to download one episode.. if you have a good upload speed, then u can seed away while its still brand new

the thing is that just like it was mentioned before files come and die real real fast. Alot of times you have to jump on the file the instant it gets uploaded. You are pretty much competing with people who have RSS set up, also the annoying part about it is sometimes when you get larger files you get those pesky partial seeders. Sometimes it may say there are 1 seeder and 50 leechers when in fact out of those 50 like half are partial seeding. (I am saying this happends sometimes not all the time). Sometimes its just a matter of good timing because whether you have a seedbox or not or you have a decent home connection if you jump on it a little late you might not get to a 1:1

OK so why is this site so coveted then? Perhaps I should just skip it.

I personally perfer TvT.ro but the contant of bitmeTV is awesome. Some of the shows that are real hard to find are on there. Maybe that is why it is sought out.
