Thread: are there any other trillian users on here?

i am sure there are. i have always loved aim, but hated installing the aim software because it installed other crap with it. back in 01 some of my college buddies introduced me to trillian . i have been a solid user since. just two days ago i update to the arista version. this is awesome. i havent figured it all out yet. just seeing how many other people actually use it. if not are there other clients out there that work this good?

i put trillian in my favorite client category along side firefox (i will never use internet explorer again), thunderbird, and utorrent.




p.s on a side note, who remembers netscape navigator, lol. is that program still around?

nah, i am not that tech-savy to be beta testing. i just downloaded the basic version. i kinda like the feel to it. the iphone like txt threading is nice also

I have been using trillian for a couple years now too. I like the new version as well, pro edition allows a lot of GUI customization over the basic. I was a little sad after the free trial expired.

Quick question, does anyone else have issues when adding a contact? Every single time I try to add a new contact in trillain (to any service) it completely crashes. I have searched around their forum but did not see anyone else with the same problem. This has happened to me on different computers using different versions of the program.

Any help is appreciated!

I used it for a long time but switched to Miranda about a year ago. I like to just have a plain list of users and nothing else. Miranda is easier to set up that way.
